Create and maintain processes of the quality program and provide operations processes, quality practices, quality audits and software measurements.

About the team:  

Electronic trading applications used by investment bank and institutions for money or fund management by Asset managers, Retail, Hedge funds, Investor ​

VGM Key Products :​

• Trading Line Handler: The Trading Line Handler is the FIS Exchange-specific component that handles communication between the Trading Server (SLE) V5 Core and the Exchange.​
• Market Data Handler: Data feeds are broadcast in a format that is unique to the Exchange. The Source Market Data Server (MDS) receives this information directly from the Exchange and converts it to V5 format so that this information can be broadcast to FIS components

What you will be doing:

• Analyze, Test Qualify and automate software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs.
• Interact with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
• Participate in requirement design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine functional and performance requirements.
• Write QA Test cases based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
• Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
• Train and communicate with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams on systems application.
• May be responsible for QA or executing QA project plans and schedules and for QA delivery work and results.
• May deliver informational and functional presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiences.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you will need:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Three to eight years software engineering work experience in QA testing and Python.
• Knowledge of financial services industry
• Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, e.g., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development
• Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry , e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma
• Knowledge of banking practices, regulations and operations within assigned line(s) of business
• Proficiency in Testcase design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, use cases, etc.
