We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong production support experience to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, automate deployment pipelines, and ensure system reliability across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments. The role requires a balance of DevOps engineering and operational support to maintain high availability, performance, and security of applications.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and support cloud infrastructure hosted on GCP and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Work with services like Compute Engine, GKE (GCP), OCI Compute, OKE, and Object Storage
- Monitor system performance, availability, and troubleshoot production issues
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- Collaborate with development teams to improve release processes and system reliability
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or similar
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide long-term fixes for recurring issues
- Ensure system security, patching, and compliance requirements are met across cloud platforms
- Handle incident management, on-call support, and SLA adherence
- Drive automation to reduce manual operational tasks
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Site Reliability / Production Support roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and scripting (Bash, Python)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OKE/GKE)
- Monitoring and logging tools experience (Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver, OCI Monitoring, Splunk)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to handle production issues
- Understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture fundamentals
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Nice to have
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
- Experience in implementing DevSecOps practices
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Relevant cloud certifications such as GCP Professional DevOps Engineer or Oracle Cloud certifications
