Mandatory Skills & Experience
• Strong experience with C# / .NET (modern .NET)
• Frontend development using Angular
• Building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of API design and versioning
Authentication & Authorization:
• Implementing OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect flows
• JWT handling (validation, expiration, refresh, scopes/claims)
• Integration with Azure Entra ID or similar IdP
• Role-/claim-based authorization in .NET and Angular
Experience with Entity Framework working with:
• Traditional SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server)
• NoSQL, specifically Cosmos DB
• Experience building solutions on Azure
• Writing unit and integration tests; using mocking frameworks
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and clean code practices
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (ideally Azure DevOps)
• Comfortable working in an Agile delivery environment
Nice to Have
• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions
• Exposure to cloudnative or microservices architectures
• Performance optimisation and observability (logging, tracing, metrics)
• Security best practices (e.g., secure headers, OWASP, secret management)
