Senior Full Stack Developer (Angular & Node)

Information Security Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
• Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
• Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain web applications using Node.js 
• Develop and maintain high-performance web and mobile applications using Angular and Ionic Framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and developers, to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across devices and platforms.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to improve application performance.
• Integrate third-party libraries, APIs, and services to extend app functionality.
• Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers, and help in shaping development processes and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development skills and methodologies.
• Contribute to agile development practices, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Extensive experience in software development using Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications on AWS.
• Understanding of Serverless architecture
• Implement and maintain APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in Angular development with strong expertise in the Ionic Framework.
• Frontend Development: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive design principles.
• Mobile App Development: Solid experience in building and deploying cross-platform mobile applications using Ionic (iOS and Android).
• State Management: Strong understanding of state management libraries such as NgRx.
• RESTful APIs: Experience integrating RESTful APIs into web and mobile applications.
• Version Control: Proficient with Github / BitBucket and working in a collaborative environment using version control systems.
• Testing: Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, or Protractor for unit and integration testing.
• Tools and Technologies: Experience with build tools like Webpack, npm.
• UI/UX: Strong understanding of UI/UX principles with an eye for detail and user-centred design.
• Problem Solving: Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with PWA (Progressive Web Apps) development using Ionic.
• Knowledge of Native Mobile Development (Android/iOS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
