About Us
We are seeking a talented Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our team and scale up a new team dedicated to modernizing our software stack. A successful candidate will possess strong frontend development skills, a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions, and a drive to maximize operational efficiency while maintaining excellent product performance. You will play a key role in developing our React/NextJS web application and integrating it with backend systems.Who You Are

Responsibilities
- Develop and architect the frontend website using modern web-based technologies such as React and NextJS.
- Integrate the frontend with backend content publishing platforms, including a self-hosted WordPress CMS in AWS.
- Work on client-side integrations with ad tech stacks, consent libraries, and compliance software provided by Yahoo.
- Collaborate with product and design teams on new features and enhancements.
- Participate in sprint planning and other agile ceremonies with the product manager.
- Handle on-call responsibilities with product engineering to maintain high uptime for systems.
- Assist in interviewing and onboarding engineers for a colocated team.
- Become self-sufficient and capable of delivering software solutions autonomously when needed.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7-10+ years of software development experience.
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, and CSS preprocessors (e.g., SCSS).
- Proficiency in TypeScript, ECMAScript, and/or JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of modern web-based technologies, including React.
- Familiarity with full-stack web frameworks such as NextJS or similar.
- Experience consuming RESTful, GraphQL, or equivalent APIs for user-facing applications.
- Knowledge of WordPress technology (preferred but not required).
- Experience with PHP and relational databases (preferred but not required).
- Strong understanding of software development design patterns, code structure, and debugging tools.
- Excellent communication skills; able to articulate team and project goals clearly.
- A collaborative team player who values differing perspectives and provides thoughtful reasoning.
