As a Front End Engineer, you will:
- Develop exceptional prototypes and high-quality, production-ready React/NextJS front-end single-page applications that stand out.
- Advocate for quality by ensuring excellence in code, unit testing, accessibility, performance, and conducting thorough code reviews.
- Collaborate within an Agile workstream alongside talented front-end developers to bring innovative projects to fruition.
- Engage in meaningful discussions with both technical and non-technical colleagues, sharing your expertise and insights.
- Create modular layouts, reusable code, and libraries that facilitate future advancements.
- Contribute significantly to both existing and new integrations for our dynamic platform.

- Demonstrated commercial experience in hands-on React development, with a comprehensive understanding of core concepts.
- Experience with serverless and server-side development using NextJS that will enhance our projects.
- A strong command of state management technologies/approaches such as Redux or Flux to ensure smooth operations.
- Familiarity with a type-checking language, preferably TypeScript, which we highly value.
- Extensive experience with semantic HTML5, CSS3 (SASS or LESS), and JavaScript (ES6+), adhering to industry coding standards.
- Experience with unit, end-to-end, and regression testing, utilizing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress to maintain quality.
- A solid understanding of Agile methodologies, including story point estimation, refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint demos that promote collaboration.
- Experience in component development using Storybook to create engaging user experiences.
- Knowledge of current front-end architecture trends and best practices, including performance optimization, accessibility, SEO, security, and usability.
- Commercial experience using Git within a large development team practicing continuous integration to enhance our workflow.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders, fostering a positive team environment.
- Proficient understanding of fluid responsive layouts and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility issues to ensure a seamless experience for all users.
- Commercial experience working on SPA solutions, ideally within e-commerce, that drive impactful results.
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools such as Grunt and Webpack to optimize our development process.
- A willingness to contribute to both large, complex projects and smaller tasks as needed, demonstrating your versatility.
- Experience integrating with various external, third-party systems, thereby expanding our capabilities.
