Job Description
- Comprehensive general ledger, analytical accounting and controlling for Byborg entities with a specific focus on Byborg SSC ‘s Hungarian entities.
- Ensure up-to-date management of cash, supplier, customer, bank, tax, and fixed asset analytics.
- Maintain consistency between analytics and the general ledger.
- Preparation and timely execution of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
- Adherence to mandatory accounting legislation and internal regulations necessary for group operations.
- Preparation, verification, and timely publication of annual reports and interim financial statements.
- Timely submission of tax returns, KSH (Hungarian Central Statistical Office) statements, MNB (Central Bank of Hungary) reports, and other required data disclosures.
- Cooperation in interim and annual audits.
- Participation in tax authority audits.
- Maintaining communication and coordination with the group's auditors, tax advisors, tax experts, and other external consultants.
- Preparation of accounting, tax, and financial reports, recommendations, and proposals for group executives and owners.
- Cooperation with the group's headquarters in Luxembourg and other departments.
- Handling ad-hoc tasks compatible with the job role.
- Supporting the work of the Accounting Manager and the CFO.
Qualifications
- Chartered accountant certification ("Mérlegképes könyvelő") with at least 5 years of professional experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role.
- Fluency level proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- High level of MS Excel knowledge
