A Day in the LifeAs a Senior Software Test Engineer, you will contribute to the quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance of software products by designing and executing manual and automated test strategies for web and cloud applications. The role partners closely with software development, systems engineering, and quality teams to ensure product requirements are verified through comprehensive validation activities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications, APIs, and cloud-based software systems.
• Create and maintain test plans, test protocols, traceability documentation, and test reports supporting verification and validation activities.
• Develop and enhance test automation frameworks using Python, Selenium, Playwright, Requests library, Robot Framework, or equivalent technologies.
• Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing to verify software requirements and product performance.
• Execute REST API testing and automation using Postman or similar tools and validate application behavior across integrated systems.
• Collaborate with software development and systems engineering teams to investigate defects, identify root causes, and verify corrective actions.
• Support software development lifecycle activities, including requirements reviews, risk-based testing, and regulatory documentation deliverables.
• Conduct test tool validation activities and contribute to continuous improvement of test processes, frameworks, and quality practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related technical discipline with 8+ years of software engineering or software test engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience testing web-based applications, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Experience with REST API testing using Postman or equivalent tools.
• Experience developing automated tests using Python and Web UI automation frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright, and API automation using Requests library, Robot Framework, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience creating test documentation and executing verification and validation activities within a structured software development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with non-functional testing, including performance, load, scalability, or web application security testing.
• AWS Foundational or equivalent cloud certification.
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) or equivalent software testing certification.
• Experience working within medical device, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industry environments.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins continuous integration pipelines, Agile development methodologies, and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
