Our Corporate Bank Technology team is a global team of 3000 coders (and growing!) across 30 countries. The primary businesses that Corporate Bank support are Cash Management, Securities Services, Trade Finance and Trust & Agency Services. CB Technology support these businesses through CIO aligned teams and also by 'horizontals' such as Client Connectivity, Surveillance and Regulatory, Infrastructure, Architecture, Production, and Risk & Control.
About the Team
India Branch Technology : This team is responsible for end-to-end delivery of book of work (BoW) for the applications used in India Branch and provide L3 technology support post go-live, ITAO, TISO activities, Audit, SII, Risk BoW etc. The applications range from low and high value payment processing , cross border payment application, liquidity management , treasury processing, deposits management etc. India is one of the branches within the Global Branch Technology team, which is a part of Cash Technology within Corporate Bank Technology.

Your key responsibilities
What You’ll Do
As part of our global team, you will work on various components as a senior software development engineer at an AVP level within India Branch Technology. You will play a senior software development engineer role within the team involving best coding practices including agile software development for the application portfolio within India Branch Technology space to support CTB/ADC book of work including Regulatory, Audit, Business changes and resolving production incidents/issues etc. Person may be required to perform ITAO/ ITAO Delegate/ TISO role as and when needed.
Your skills and experience
- Around 8-12 yrs. technical work experience at a senior developer level and preferably worked in payments applications in
- banking domain
- Should be a computer science / Information Technology graduate from reputed college / university.
- Mandatory / Strong knowledge in Core Java, Spring boot, SQL server, Oracle, Junit, Restful API, Microservices, Angular15
- Knowledge of Entity Framework Angular, TypeScript, XML, HTML 5, Oracle 11, Oracle 19C, Programming skills (SQL 2008 or later),
- SQL, ExaCC, GCP , React
- Prior experience of working on SFMS application provided by India Regulator to process NEFT/ RTGS payments , will be an added
- Experience in using UML
- Experience in platform migration of application including hardware, software and database upgrade
- Should be able to support production incidents
- Understanding of risk framework, experienced in raising and working towards closure of SIIs / audit findings
- Should be a team player, able to lead team of engineers (internal and CWRs) along with good networking ability with production
- support, interfaces team, Ops and business
- Agile methodology knowledge including Demo as part of the development lifecycle, working with JIRA, Confluence , Service Now
- Review Solution / Functional requirement specifications, working closely with Delivery manager, Application Owners / Solution
- Architects
- Review Test Cases for functional and non-functional testing
- Working closely with developers to resolve functional issues from User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in formulating solutions to
- various functional / technical issues.
- Support Application management area (Application Owner and L3 team) for functional area trouble shooting and resolution to
- reported bugs on the application.
- Coordinate with all stakeholders (interface partners, Production Support, Operations etc) to ensure the changes are verified after deployment in production.
- Prior knowledge Payments processing domain will be an added advantage
- Good understanding of working on the audit findings and Self-Identified Issues (SII)
- Good communication skills
