Looking for candidate who will be Handling VAS Operations and maintaining service availability for VAS nodes with proper work focus for Alarm handling, support Hardware/software/configuration related issues, configuration of all Nodes pertaining to VAS domains and emergency handling/outage Support for VAS and IMS nodes/products/network.
What you will do:
- Ensuring a smooth operation of the GSM,TCP-IP.
- Be part of a team managing specific VAS Network activities associated with Mobile GSM(2G,3G,4G) Network.
- Administrating VAS(SMSC,MMSC,MMSC,VMS) and Support Systems.
- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance.
- Planned Maintenance (Health Checks, Backups etc.).
- Problem Escalations and Follow-ups (CSR).
- Performance Analysis & Investigation.
- Interface with Customer, 3PP and Ericsson Departments.
- Ensure smooth and quality system/service handover from Project.
- Troubleshooting/Fault finding/RCA in configuration/hardware/software.
The skills you bring:
- Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience or equivalent in Engineering preferably in Electronics, Computer science, Telecommunication or equivalent
- Experience level 5+ years' experience in of VAS products.
- Having 5 to 8 years of experience as a System Engineer in a mobile network environment.
- Knowledge of GSM, SS7, Sigtran, TCP/IP, SCCP, SCTP ,IMS and Diameter protocol.
- Must have Knowledge of Linux, OS- (Linux, Solaris), IP basics, PCRF, SMSC, and Provisioning system
