The Senior DevSecOps/SRE Engineer will develop, implement, and maintain cloud-native applications focusing on securing infrastructure and optimizing DevOps operations. Responsibilities include collaborating with various teams for product launches, managing incident responses, and ensuring performance and reliability of cloud-based systems.

What you will do:

Contribute towards projects by developing, implementing, and maintaining highly reliable and scalable cloud-native applications and services, focusing on the secure and efficient operation of the infrastructure.
- Contribute towards enhancement and optimization of our DevOps operations, managing the entire software development life cycle within the SRE domain.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Systems Engineering, Quality Assurance, Security, and Testing teams to ensure seamless product launches and continuous improvement of our software products.
- Contribute towards shaping and maintaining the reliability and performance of our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards.
- Evaluate tradeoffs between cost, performance, and reliability when making architectural decisions.
- Participate in incident management processes, and escalations as per defined policies.
- Participate in on-call support as part of a rotational schedule, providing timely resolution to critical issues and incidents.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in software engineering/ computer science or related discipline & 3+ years of work experience as a DevSecOps Engineer in the field of cloud-based product development
- Hands-on scripting experience using Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar.
- Extensive experience in provisioning and managing infrastructure in public cloud environments, with a preference for expertise in Azure and, optionally, in AWS.
- Experience with configuration management, implementing CI/CD pipelines, deployment, vulnerability assessments and IaC tools like Terraform, Helm, Ansible or Chef, Artifactory, and GitLab.
- Experience deploying and orchestrating containers in production environments using cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, App Service, and related tools.
- Experience adapting DevOps tools and processes for operating systems such as Apple OSX, iOS, Android, Windows, Linux.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to utilize monitoring and log analytics tools effectively.
- Past expsoure to software development in a cloud native environment with technologies like .Net Core, Python, Django, etc.
