Key Responsibilities:
- Design, prototype, and deploy new solutions that strengthen our market position.
- Develop scalable monitoring solutions to track real-time events across a million+ devices.
- Define the architectural direction for applications, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-quality development environment.
- Champion best DevOps practices to ensure efficient operations.
- Work cross-functionally to align project goals and resolve challenges.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum 6 years in DevOps engineering with extensive experience in developing and leading multi-tier web services.
- Strong background in multi-environment Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
- Previous experience in a cloud-based product environment.
- Expertise in one or more CI/CD deployment methodologies, such as Jenkins Groovy pipelines, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Proficient in the AWS ecosystem, particularly with Amazon EKS; AWS certifications are a plus.
- Strong Source Code Management skills, preferably using Git Flow.
- Basic proficiency in backend development with Python and Node.js.
- Proficiency in multi-platform UI development using Angular 2+ or ReactJS (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of MySQL, RDS, and MongoDB Atlas.
- Hands-on experience with messaging systems, particularly Apache Kafka.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with IoT protocols and MQTT broker configuration.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s) and MongoDB Atlas.
- Exposure to NestJS framework and Stencil.js for front-end development.
Additional Information: This hybrid position encourages you to work from our Bangalore office 2-3 days per week, fostering a collaborative environment while offering flexibility.
