Role Overview:
OTIS Engineering Services Agile Tools team is looking for a Senior Agile Tools Solutions Engineer to deploy, support, develop, test and maintain the Atlassian Agile tools development solutions such as
- JIRA / JIRA Datacenter
- Confluence
- Bitbucket / Bitbucket Datacenter
- Bamboo
- Jira Service Desk
On a typical day you will do:
- Work with development teams to on-board them and their environments into the Secure Development Factory Atlassian environments to optimize OTIS’s Engineering Services provided to development teams and their workflows.
- Expertise in handling custom workflow design, automation, screen, issue collector, notifications and Atlassian permissions including product license management.
- Manage large scale Jira/Bitbucket/Confluence migration on-prem as well as to Atlassian SaaS.
- Knowledge on Atlassian SaaS migrations - from on-prem to Cloud migration.
- Experience handling consolidation of multiple Atlassian instance into single deployment and handling conflicts with zero downtime & application availability impact.
- Research and implement new approaches on Jira and Confluence usage.
- Lead discussion with various stakeholders to understand the requirements, drive implementation and coordinate evaluation.
- Subject matter expert for all Atlassian products with good troubleshooting skills to fix production issues.
- Work closely with development teams (development, release, QA, production) to constantly look for ways to bring out new solutions and improve already solutions deployed to meet their needs.
What you will Need to be Successful:
- 7 - 10 years of relevant industry experience working on Atlassian technologies.
- Experience in the design, implementation, delivery and support of sophisticated software development workflows, Agile methodologies and its applications in the Atlassian Toolset.
- Good knowledge on Xray, Xporter.
- Must have knowledge on JIRA Automation, JQL, Java/Python etc.
- Bamboo administration, agent, and license management
- Configure build plans and deployment projects
- Troubleshooting technical issues and performance tuning
- Experience with configuration Management utilities (Bitbucket), and Source Control (Git, Subversion)
- Proven ability to work and/or lead in high performing/ geographically dispersed teams.
