What you’ll achieve:
The Senior Data Scientist will be developing and implementing machine learning models, performing advanced data analysis, and identifying patterns and trends to improve the efficiency and usability of our products and services. You will also be responsible for creating insightful reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Essential Duties
- Work with stakeholders to identify key metrics and opportunities for improving business processes, products, and services.
- Develop and implement machine learning models, including feature engineering, model design, training, and deployment.
- Perform data mining, exploration, and statistical analysis to uncover trends and actionable insights.
- Create data visualizations, reports, dashboards, and perform data audits.
- Leverage predictive models to optimize customer experiences and drive business outcomes.
- Create automated anomaly detection systems to monitor and ensure data quality and operational performance.
Desired Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- 6+ years of experience working in Data Science, preferably within a Software organization.
- Experience with financial fraud detection and prevention is a major advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Python for data science and machine learning applications.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.
- Expertise in data mining, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, preferably Azure.
- Understanding of Java is a plus.
