The Role

As a Senior Product Manager – Data Products, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering data-driven and AI-powered products that meet market demands and deliver exceptional value to our customers. Reporting to the Director of Data Products, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product strategies, prioritize initiatives and ensure the successful delivery of innovative data products.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director of Data Products to define and execute the vision, strategy and roadmap for data-driven and AI-powered products
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends and competitive landscapes to inform product development
  • Translate customer and market insights into actionable product concepts, features and roadmaps
  • Work collaboratively with product, engineering, data science, analytics and marketing teams to bring data products to market
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of data products from ideation and development to launch and continuous improvement
  • Prioritize product investments in alignment with business objectives and customer needs ensuring a balanced roadmap of initiatives
  • Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and contribute to a product-centric culture
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future development
  • Own product documentation and collateral including sales and pre-sales tools, support and end user documentation, with support from Data Product Owners
  • Act as a mentor and collaborator within the Data organisation supporting the growth and development of team members
Requirements

Basic Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in product management with a focus on data and analytics product development
  • Proven track record of delivering successful data-driven products in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate product strategies to customers, senior leaders and colleagues
  • Experience with Agile product development methodologies
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities effectively
  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration or a related field
  • Flexibility to undertake occasional international travel to visit customers and/or partners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in IoT, telecommunications, automotive, or connectivity domains
  • Familiarity with machine learning or artificial intelligence solutions
  • Experience in creating and implementing data governance policies
