A Senior Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) Finance Consultant is a highly experienced professional with expertise in implementing financial solutions within the D365 F&O platform.
Key responsibilities and skills associated with this role:
Responsibilities:
Client Interaction: Engage directly with clients to understand their financial requirements, provide expert advice, and establish strong client relationships.
Solution Design: Design and configure financial modules in D365 F&O according to client needs. Ensure alignment with industry best practices and compliance standards.
Implementation: Lead the implementation of financial processes, workflows, and functionalities in D365 F&O. Oversee system configurations and customizations.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical consultants, developers, and business analysts, to deliver integrated D365 F&O solutions.
Quality Assurance: Review and validate configurations, customizations, and reports to ensure high-quality deliverables. Provide feedback to junior consultants.
Training: Provide training sessions to end-users, junior consultants, and internal teams on financial functionalities and best practices within D365 F&O.
Problem-Solving: Address complex financial and technical issues. Provide innovative solutions and troubleshoot challenges to ensure successful implementations.
Documentation: Document financial configurations, customizations, and client interactions comprehensively for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Experience required:
10+ years relevant experience
Skills:
Dynamics 365 F&O Knowledge: In-depth understanding of D365 F&O financial modules, features, and capabilities
Financial Expertise: Strong background in accounting and finance principles. Ability to translate financial requirements into system configurations
Configuration: Proficiency in configuring General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, and other financial modules in D365 F&O
Problem-Solving: Analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex financial and technical challenges
Communication: Effective communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear manner
Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions
Training: Ability to provide training sessions to end-users and internal teams, conveying financial concepts and D365 F&O functionalities effectively.Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing client requirements, project scopes, and evolving technology landscapes.
