Job Description
Senior Cloud Architect is responsible for the Cloud Architecture Design and the Implementation of the Solution proposed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain reference architectures for use in customer deployments.
- · Engage with Cloud Architects within the Apps & Infra BU as well as Microsoft, account team at
- Altron Digital Business and the bigger Altron Group to identify and develop Microsoft Cloud
- opportunities.
- · Showcase Microsoft Cloud Architecture solutions as a strategic fit for customer organizations
- through workshops, boot camps, vision & strategy sessions.
- · Be the technical thought leader in a technology area (Microsoft Azure Cloud) and work on
- development of Technical Documentation, SoW's, POE's, Project Plans and hand-off documents
- · Iteratively improve deployment methodologies through process streamlining and automation.
- · Develop and maintain training prerequisites for delivery engineers to execute defined services.
- · Develop and maintain supportability matrices as Azure Cloud Infrastructure evolves.
- · Develop and maintain Lab environments for use in training and deployment methodology
- verification.
- · Align with sales teams on sales playbooks, processes, and methodologies.
- · Work with the Technical Solutions Professionals within the Apps & Infra BU on standardized
- level-of-effort (LOE), statement-of-work (SOW) and pricing.
- · Work with the professional services organization (Altron) to ensure alignment with
- methods, strategy and vision.
- · Work with ISV's (Independent Software Vendors) to align with vendor partnerships.
- · Participate in customer engagement kick-off meetings.
- · Review and certify Level-Of-Effort (LOE) and Statement-Of-Work (SOW) prior to customer
- engagements.
- · Support customer-facing sales teams in the creation of level-of-effort (LOE) criteria for specific
- engagements.
- · Work as a Technical Lead on projects requiring complex integrations across multiple technology
- Disciplines. Providing leadership, mentorship, and owning the overall design as well as the
- success of the engagement
- · As part of the Apps & Infra BU and ongoing growth within this role additional responsibilities
- include:
- · Maintain awareness of projects being executed
- · Provide Pre-Sales support to include qualifying of opportunities
