The opportunity
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for continuous improvement of CI / CD processes through improved build, test, and deployment automation. This role will work closely with product development as part of a virtual product focused team.
How you’ll make an impact
To Implement and maintain complex CI/CD automation flows using Azure DevOps pipelines. Implement, deploy, and maintain complex IT infrastructure using Infrastructure as code (IaC). Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management. Encourage and promote the building of automated processes wherever possible. Implement development, testing, automation tools.
To Handle frequent, incremental code testing and deployment. Troubleshoot time-critical deployment and infrastructure issues: Identify causes, propose and implement solutions.
To Support build and deployment processes of large-scale enterprise application software. Assist Dev and QA teams and other internal users with guidance, troubleshooting and other support required for pipelines and infrastructure.

Run testing and analysis on software and systems to identify problems. Evaluate effectiveness of implemented software. Identify system solutions for customer needs and define system requirements necessary to operate system. Change system software so that system performance will meet objectives. Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested changes to operating system are possible
Collaborate with other systems analysts/programmers to ensure that efforts are coordinated. Read loading and running instructions for system software such as task scheduling, memory management, computer file system, or controlling computer input and output.
Initiate test of system program and observe readout on monitor of computer system to detect errors or work stoppage. Experience troubleshooting server related Memory, CPU and Disk performance issues.
Describe steps taken to modify system and procedures required to implement new software. Incidence management and root cause analysis. Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline. Mentor and guide junior team members
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
Required bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Computer Science with overall 7+ years in a Software Engineer/Developer role and at least 4 years as a DevOps Engineer.
Proven experience designing and implementing complex Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform. Strong expertise in building, maintaining, and optimizing Azure Pipelines for CI/CD automation. Proficiency in Linux. Scripting (PowerShell/bash/python) knowledge. Git: Branching, merging, tagging and versioning strategies.
Hands-on experience with Azure resource provisioning, management, and automation via Terraform modules. Ability to write reusable, modular, and secure Terraform code for large-scale Azure environments.
Experience integrating Terraform workflows into Azure DevOps pipelines, including automated testing and deployment. Solid understanding of cloud architecture, security best practices, and DevOps
Familiarity with basic relational database management and SQL queries using Postgres (or similar DBMS such as Oracle or SQL Server)
Strong Azure DevOps Pipelines skills. Strong Terraform skills. Azure cloud (Networking, IAM, RBAC, Entra ID, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, AKS, VMs, other PaaS and IaaS services) Demonstrated experience with Docker & Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
Experience of ITIL and IT Management systems (ITSM), such as Salesforce, Jira, and Confluence. Monitoring and alerting with Azure Monitor, Prometheus and Grafana. Experience with Database Management and SQL queries (PostgreSQL or Oracle/SQL Server). Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
Ability to work independently to investigate and solve complex technical issues: Identify and diagnose issues, research and propose solutions, propose and implement solutions to new requirements. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
