Riveron is seeking a Senior Associate – Valuation Services to support valuation engagements for U.S. clients across financial and tax reporting, transactions, restructuring, and strategic advisory matters. This role requires a strong blend of technical valuation expertise, project management, and client-facing experience.
As a Senior Associate, you will serve as a key engagement team member, working closely with Manager, Directors and MDs, while remaining actively involved in the execution and review of valuation analyses and deliverables.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years of progressive experience in valuation or related consulting roles.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).
MBA with concentration in Finance or demonstrated progress towards professional credentials such as CFA, ASA, or CPA is strongly preferred.
Strong technical expertise in business valuation, intangible asset valuation, and equity valuation.
Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP valuation topics, including ASC 805, ASC 820, and other fair value measurement guidance.
Advanced financial modeling skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and valuation databases like Capital IQ
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced professional services environment.
What You’ll Do:
Execute valuation engagements involving business enterprises, intangible assets and equity items (i.e. shares of common stock).
Support Project Managers with end-to-end engagement oversight, including project scoping, planning, execution, review, and delivery of client-ready reports along with Project Manager.
Apply appropriate valuation methodologies such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), intangible asset models, option-pricing models, market-based approaches, transaction-based analyses, and other relevant techniques.
Support valuations for a variety of purposes including business combinations, goodwill and asset impairment testing, tax valuation, bankruptcy/restructuring, and strategic planning.
Drive the development of valuation models, analyses, and reports; ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to firm quality standards.
Identify and resolve engagement issues and risks, escalating matters as appropriate to project leaders.
Collaborate with MDs and Directors on engagement strategy, timelines, and client relationship management.
Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment aligned with Riveron’s client-first and entrepreneurial culture.
Assist with engagement staffing, workload management, and coaching across multiple concurrent projects.
