SENIOR ASSOCIATE - LEVEL 1 - PYTHON

RMgX Technologies is a Digital Product Engineering firm focused on AI-powered product development, digital transformation, and complex systems integration. We are seeking a Data Specialist to play a key role in a mission-critical project. The role demands deep expertise in databases, ETL processes, and data workflows, with a strong sense of ownership and structured way of working. You will play a critical role in ensuring reliable, accurate, and scalable data systems that power the products and systems developed by RMgX

We are seeking a highly skilled and responsible Senior Associate – Python who can design, develop, and deliver scalable applications and complex systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building backend and frontend systems, a proven ability to deliver high-performance solutions, and team leadership experience. This role demands strong engineering fundamentals, meticulous execution, structured working, and the ability to take full ownership of delivery. Exposure to AI technologies or projects will be considered a valuable advantage.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and maintain complex backend systems and scalable applications using Python and modern frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Integrate and deliver frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) ensuring seamless user experience.
• Architect performant, low-latency systems optimized for scalability, security, and reliability.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, conducting reviews and ensuring engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, and infrastructure teams to translate requirements into technical execution.
• Manage delivery roadmaps and ensure timely execution of projects with structured documentation.
• Explore and integrate AI/ML techniques where applicable to enhance system capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments ensuring stability and performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
• Certifications or exposure in AI/ML will be an advantage.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 4–7 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering applications across backend and frontend.
• Strong experience with at least one Python web framework (Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Exposure to frontend technologies (JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue).
• Experience leading development teams and owning delivery of projects.
• Exposure to AI/ML projects (desirable but not mandatory).
