We are seeking a Financial Analyst (FP&A & Accounting) to support financial planning, reporting, and core accounting activities. This role offers a blend of FP&A and accounting responsibilities, providing exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial close processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to develop a well-rounded finance skill set within a collaborative, global environment. The work timing for the role would be 2:30PM – 11PM IST.
The day-to-day responsibilities include but not limited to:
FP&A Support
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Support monthly financial reporting and variance analysis
- Help build and maintain financial models and reports
- Partner with finance teams to gather data and support business insights
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial deliverables
Accounting Support
- Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support general ledger review and ensure data accuracy
- Partner with accounting teams to understand financial results and drivers
- Help maintain proper documentation and audit support materials
Process & Reporting
- Support the preparation of standardized reporting templates and dashboards
- Assist in improving processes and identifying efficiencies
- Maintain and organize financial data and documentation
- Support system updates and reporting enhancements as needed
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with global finance and accounting teams
- Support communication of timelines and deliverables
- Build relationships across teams to support financial processes
Essential traits:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or related finance roles
- Basic exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or month-end close preferred
- Internship or early experience in corporate finance or accounting is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good Excel skills (financial modeling basics preferred)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with financial systems/tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Oracle, Dynamics) is a plus
- Proactive mindset with interest in process improvement
