Role Summary

The Senior Workday Reporting Analyst will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining custom Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions that meet business and client needs. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, analytical skills, and collaboration across functional and technical teams to ensure data accuracy, usability, and alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Workday reports (Advanced, Matrix, Trending, etc.) based on business and client requirements.
• Create and manage Workday Discovery Boards and Custom Dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various reporting and analytics needs.
• Troubleshoot report-related issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Identify and implement enhancements to improve existing reports and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain complex Workday calculated fields to support reporting requirements.
• Gather report requirements, define project scope, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Conduct thorough testing of new and modified reports to ensure accuracy, data integrity, and usability.
• Manage multiple reporting initiatives (builds, enhancements, bug fixes) with minimal supervision.
• Ensure data consistency and alignment across reports and dashboards.
• Adhere to reporting standards and best practices set by the leadership team.
• Contribute to Workday optimization initiatives, including new module implementations and feature releases.
• Support testing and validation efforts during Workday system upgrades and releases.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders on Workforce Intelligence and reporting-related projects.
• Maintain accurate project and ticket status updates in tools like Jira or other tracking systems.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a Workday Report Writer.
• At least 3 years of overall experience in a Workday technical role.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining Advanced, Matrix, and Trending Reports in Workday.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
• Team player with the ability to work independently as needed.
• Knowledge of additional Workday report types (Transposed, Search, Composite, etc.) and Discovery Boards is strongly preferred.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira is a plus.
• Familiarity with Workday Security is an advantage.
• Workday Certification(s) highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience desired.
