The primary role of a Senior Financial analyst is at Empower India to ensure that all the reporting activities done as per FR norms . Some of key activities are Trust reporting, BBG indexing, SVF and financial statement analysis.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Completes processing steps as documented within standard operating procedures
- Review of price confirmation collection from Fund Houses and within the department
- Perform daily reporting activities as per FR norms
- Analyze Financial statement form Vendor
- Provide subject matter expertise support to onshore and downstream teams
- Liaise with the Fund Houses to resolve issues and minimize risk
- Participates in adhoc projects within team as needed
- Effectively & efficiently enter the analysis into the Spreadsheet for Fund Reporting & Performance and also QC peers work.
- Complete all daily, monthly, and ad-hoc tasks and reporting accurately
- Escalate all issues promptly and effectively to supervisor
- Analyze and manage change notifications from Fund Houses to understand the functional/data impact of changes to the system.
- Driving high satisfaction, quality and efficiency for clients
- Delivering superior results quickly and efficiently, utilizing effective time management skills.
- Drives innovation through collaboration with partners and business processes
- Escalate all issues promptly and effectively to supervisor/Front line Manager
- Shift Timing: 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST – Monday to Friday.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting is a must/MBA
OTHER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4 to 6 years of asset pricing (like Equities, Bonds and Mutual Funds) and fund performance experience is a must
- Vendor knowledge i.e. Bloomberg, IDC, Eikon, etc. will be preferred
- Knowledge of Capital Market and Investment Banking Industry preferred
- Understands the financial statement and credit report from vendor
- Eye to detail oriented candidature with strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be deadline oriented ensuring issues are being resolved and clients are kept apprised of progress ensuring highest level of client service and satisfaction
- Should have good oral and written communication skills as the role demands extensive partner communication via calls and emails.
