Responsible for defining, implementing, and evolving DevOps and CI/CD capabilities for NAB services. Acts as a thought leader to drive automation across source integration, testing, deployment, and release management to reduce lead time, improve reliability, and increase deployment frequency.
YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Accountabilities
• Hands-on design and implementation of CI/CD and DevOps solutions.
• Promote CI/CD mindset and support cultural transformation.
• Partner with delivery teams to embed DevOps practices, processes, and tooling.
• Influence best practice while preserving engineer ownership of delivery tools.
• Standardise CI/CD tooling and align capabilities with roadmap priorities.
• Ensure stable, performant tooling platforms and mentor team members.
Capabilities
• 5+ years in testing and quality-focused software delivery.
• Strong Agile and DevOps experience in complex integrated environments.
• Deep testing standards, tooling, and automation capability.
• Expert in CI/CD, TDD, BDD, and Quality Engineering.
• Strong APIs and microservices architecture experience.
Advantageous
• Software engineering background with Java, C#, or another language.
• Practical application of software design patterns.
• Database experience with PostgreSQL and other relational databases.
• Proficient with cloud technologies in both Azure and AWS.
• Vibe coding utilising tools such as Cursor AI and GitHub Copilot.
