We are looking for an analyst for our Client Services Operations team which performs, Data extraction, Data analysis on financial models and financial valuation reports along with report updates and various support services. The team undertakes research and collects financial and business data based on the request from the internal Kroll business units. The relevant financial and business data is collected through various publicly available sources and Kroll proprietary files. Pursuant to the collection, the data is summarized in the format prescribed by the Kroll business units. The team also undertakes subsequent analysis with respect to the completeness of the data and verification of accuracy of the information. This enables the business units to have easy access of information / data as available at various sources. Analyst will perform research and analyze financial information to help company make well informed commercial decisions, conduct research, and monitor financial movements.
The day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform in-depth research on financial markets, companies, and economic trends to support investment decisions and strategic planning Ability to demonstrate high level of attention to detail and self-review.
Utilize financial databases and market platforms such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and Cap IQ to gather and interpret financial data and market information.
Compile, analyze, and interpret financial data to create detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
Continuously update knowledge and skills related to financial databases and analytical tools to enhance research capabilities
Act as an SME for respective service offering.
Maintain 100% OTD (On time Delivery) and >99% quality for all submitted tasks.
Participate and contribute to team huddles.
Onboarding new projects/tasks to improve utilization of the team.
Ensure any feedback (including breach/errors) found in the process is informed to the team Manager instantly.
Ensure timely response and high stakeholder engagement.
Build effective collaborative relationships with colleagues and managers. Coordinate regularly with multiple project teams to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Delivering high quality output through constructive review and feedback.
Participate in regular discussions, meetings and email communications to understand and interpret research requirements. Communicate project status and deliver products and services ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
Achieve maximum efficiency and reduce turnaround time gradually.
Adhere to set quality and turnaround time targets and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Assisting in preparing and presenting the results of your analysis in a clear and concise manner.
Ensure adherence to Kroll policies, procedures and protocols at all times.
Work cross-functionally to collect data and manage projects.
Working with management to build and maintain client relationships.
Adequately assist team lead on client calls.
Proactively support key initiatives that have been delivered to implement change.
Maintain project tracker/time tracker and act as a query solver for the team.
Essential traits:
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in BAF, BFM, B. Com, BMS, BBI, BBA, etc.)
MBA or MMS from an accredited college or university.
CA Inter or CFA (Pursuant)
Between 3-5 years of related experience in financial secondary research.
Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting concepts, with preferred background/exposure in financial reporting, financial modeling.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, with strong skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint being highly desirable.
Experienced with market platform navigation of databases like Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Cap IQ, etc.
Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to long-term development with flexibility to handle multiple tasks and tight timelines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact cross-functionally and/or with seniors, with an ability to convey messages in a clear and structured manner.
