Key Responsibilities:

• EOM tasks (raising accruals, reviewing P&L accounts, reconciling balance sheet accounts) 
• Preparation of the monthly wholesale end of month workpapers  
• Management of key wholesale accounts 
• Investigate and provide context to variances in accounts 
• Bank reconciliation
• Monthly GST statement preparation – Reconciliation and Drafting of GST return
• eCommerce receipt (Cash application), commissions reconciliation & payout process  - Reconciliation at month, Payout at mid-month and receipt is weekly
• Ocean freight cost tracking 
• Maintenance of fixed asset register (additions & disposals)
• Ensure financial controls and processes are followed  
• Assist with audit, tax & financial statements, queries with Statutory and internal audit
• Credit card coding review: concur and credit card spend cost center review
• User maintenance in Concur: Setting of employee code in JDE, change in cost center
• Customer account set up in accounting software
• Assist the Wholesale Finance Manager implement the business plan and other projects as required  

Skills and Qualifications:

Must Have:

• Qualifications - CA / CMA / CA Inter with 3 to 4 years of experience in the field of Accounting and FP&A related functions
• Experience completing reconciliations and involvement in monthly close process (preparation of balance sheet workpapers)  
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal  
• Excellent time management skills including timeliness of decision  
• Balance conflicting priorities and work well under pressure  
• Be curious and open to new ideas  
• Work independently as well as part of a team  
• Maintain confidentiality (essential criteria)  
• Strong MS Office skills (excel essential),
• ERP, Oracle, SAP, JDE 

Good to have:

• Prior experience of Shared service
• Exposure of Audit support and internal controls
