Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Scrum Master to lead our teams. This role is a key driver in cultivating a culture of agility, mentoring multiple teams, and ensuring that our Agile practices consistently deliver maximum business value at scale. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in multiple Agile frameworks and a proven track record of successful organizational change management.
What You'll Bring:
Key Responsibilities
Drive Enterprise Agility: Lead, train, and coach the teams in its Agile adoption and Scrum implementations, planning and advising on large-scale changes.
Mentor and Coach: Serve as a coach and mentor for multiple Scrum teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, self-management, and cross-functionality.
Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to align Agile delivery with overarching business goals, ensuring transparency and managing expectations across departments.
Complex Impediment Resolution: Identify, manage, and remove complex organizational impediments and barriers that hinder team progress, working across departments to find sustainable solutions.
Framework Adaptation: Guide the organization in adopting and implementing scaled Agile frameworks (like SAFe, LeSS, etc.) and other methodologies (Kanban, XP) to meet specific organizational needs.
Process Governance & Metrics: Define metrics and track performance using advanced Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.), using data-driven insights to guide discussions and demonstrate ROI of Agile practices to stakeholders.
Foster a Safe Environment: Build a productive and psychologically safe environment where team members can openly share ideas, take risks, and resolve conflicts constructively.
Advocate for Best Practices: Introduce and advocate for modern engineering and quality practices such as Continuous Integration (CI), automated testing, and pairing to improve product quality and delivery speed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 11+ years of experience as a Scrum Master with experience leading multiple, complex projects or programs.
Certifications: Professional Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM III or equivalent), or SAFe certification are highly preferred.
Deep Agile Expertise: Extensive, in-depth knowledge of Scrum theory, principles, and practices, as well as a working knowledge of other Agile methodologies and frameworks.
Impact You'll Make:
Job location : Chennai or Bangalore
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.TransUnion Job Title
