Serve as servant-leader and Agile coach for distributed onshore/offshore squads. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, track sprint metrics, coach teams on Agile/SAFe practices, and coordinate delivery across workstreams including AI automation, app migration, performance testing, and legacy platform support.
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to serve as a servant-leader and Agile coach for distributed development squads working across multiple transformation workstreams. The Scrum Master will drive Agile delivery by facilitating ceremonies, removing blockers, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and transparency. This role is central to ensuring alignment, efficiency, and collaboration across initiatives such as AI Automation Tooling, RPP App Migration, Performance Testing, and legacy system support.
Key Responsibilities
- Agile Facilitation & Team Support
- Facilitate all core Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, backlog grooming).
- Ensure clear sprint goals, backlog prioritization, and alignment to program-level objectives.
- Track sprint metrics (velocity, burn-downs) and proactively address deviations or delivery risks.
- Coaching & Process Improvement
- Coach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, values, and SAFe framework best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks, facilitating retrospectives, and implementing actionable outcomes.
- Impediment Removal & Shielding
- Actively identify and resolve delivery blockers or dependencies across onshore and offshore squads.
- Shield the team from external disruptions and foster a safe, productive environment.
- Workstream Collaboration
- Coordinate Agile execution across multiple workstreams including:
- AI Automation Tooling – AI-driven code transformation, testing, and validation
- RPP App Migration – Legacy-to-modern platform migration
- Performance Load and Stress Testing – Ensuring system scalability and resilience
- Legacy Platform Support – Supporting ongoing requirements from the legacy C/C++ environment
- Coordinate Agile execution across multiple workstreams including:
Required Qualifications
- Certifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent Agile certification is required.
- Professional Experience
- 6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead in large-scale, enterprise software development environments.
- Experience leading distributed Agile teams, especially blended onshore/offshore models.
- Proven track record of Agile delivery in complex platform transformation, AI/ML initiatives, or data-driven system migrations.
- Skills & Tools
- Proficient in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile management systems.
- Strong understanding of Agile performance metrics, team health indicators, and reporting.
- Exceptional facilitation, conflict resolution, and communication skills across technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of:
- AI/ML integration into DevOps or software engineering workflows
- Financial services, capital markets, or other high-compliance environments
- Dependencies involving legacy platforms (C/C++) and modern stacks (Java, Kafka, Oracle)
