The Team leader will be a key member of the of Digital Technologies applications team, a dedicated team of highly skilled technical resources supporting the Advice Wealth Management business on a 24x7 basis. Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and implement Agile based methodologies within the organization.
- Manage relationships through effective stakeholder engagement and collaborative problem solving, working at all levels and with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Leading, training, and coaching the organization in Agile and Scrum adoption.
- Planning and advising Scrum implementations within the organization.
- Helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact an empirical approach for complex work.
- Agile engagement process by identifying requirements, coordinating schedules, communicating deliverables, tracking progress and delivering successful results.
- Inform and align decision making for information technology planning, policy and operations to meet business objectives.
- Facilitating Scrum Events (Refinement, Planning, Daily Scrum, Review & Retrospective).
- Fostering Team's self-organization and help team to maintain information radiators.
- Helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact an empirical approach for complex work in coordination with different stakeholders and assist with development of management action plans.
- Tracking stories and managing sprint of the organization initiatives.
- Assess efficacy, document and report gaps to stakeholders. Provide remediation guidance and prepare management reports to track remediation activities.
- Ability to communicate a deep understanding of the business and a broad knowledge of existing agile evaluation practices is expected in this role.
- Helping Product Owners to define Product Vision, To define near term & long term initiatives by conducting road-mapping.
- Ensuring team has productive work environment, coaching on Prioritization & Estimation techniques.
Preferred Key Skills
- Good knowledge of Jira, Service Now tool and other scrum tools.
- Exemplifies and promotes agile values and principles.
- Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills along with refined presentation skills and the ability to work with other departments and varying levels of management, including senior leadership.
- Foundational knowledge of Cloud Computing Technologies (AWS and Microsoft Azure).
- Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other scrum techniques.
- Be able to engage at all levels of the organization to organize, drive and communicate results.
- Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as ServiceNow CMDB, DevOps concepts.
- Prior experience with technology infrastructure projects involving datacenter, server, storage, network components.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, related degree or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques.
- Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office applications, including but limited not limited to Outlook, word, and excel.
- Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of various compliance and regulatory areas or the risk exposure, risk reporting and handling of risk events.
