Lead Agile adoption and coach teams on Scrum/Kanban practices. Facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, support backlog management, track metrics, engage stakeholders, and run training to drive continuous improvement.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Agility Lead/Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, excellent facilitation skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement. This role will be critical in guiding our teams toward higher performance and delivering value to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Coaching: Guide teams in adopting Agile practices, fostering an environment of collaboration, and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.
- Facilitation: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) and ensure effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
- Team Development: Support team members in their professional growth, helping them to enhance their skills and take ownership of their work.
- Backlog Management: Assist Product Owners in maintaining a prioritized backlog that reflects customer needs and organizational goals.
- Impediment Removal: Identify and help resolve impediments that hinder the team’s progress, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on team performance metrics, using data to drive continuous improvement and optimize processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and communicate progress effectively.
- Training and Workshops: Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote Agile principles and practices across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- [X]+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and software development life cycle.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Proficient in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, etc.).
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in scaling Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles.
- Experience in a leadership or management role.
