Role Description
- The Data & Analytics domain within TDI Private Bank Germany spans the entire data value chain — from mobilization and integration to enrichment, transformation, and storage. It also delivers platforms, tools, data warehouses, and analytics capabilities that enable new business use cases and generate direct value for Deutsche Bank.
- Our “Platform Enablers & Shared Services”, which acts as the global Private Bank’s primary data distributor on GCP, is looking to strengthen its agile delivery capabilities.
- We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to drive and mature agile practices across our teams as we build and enhance our next‑generation Data Platform on GCP.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a high‑performing agile environment, enabling effective collaboration, removing delivery impediments, and ensuring that teams operate with clarity, transparency, and continuous improvement. This role will play a key part in supporting engineering teams, aligning with stakeholders, and ensuring smooth,
- The Scrum Master operates at Product Area level, and is a change agent with a passion for working with people and teams to help them maximize the value created by the Squad. They will do this by helping the team understand Agile theory, practices and values and translating this into practice by running the standard Agile ceremonies. The Scrum master develops and leads multi-discipline team(s), helping them to deliver value by facilitating progress and coaching them into a self-organized team. The Scrum Master will also coordinate with the different squads and release management to ensure successful delivery of features in production.

Your key responsibilities
- Deep expertise in Agile principles and frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe, with 10+ years of hands‑on experience driving agile delivery.
- Skilled in industry‑proven Agile techniques, including User Story creation, ATDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pair Working, Automated Testing practices, and Agile facilitation methods.
- Proficient in agile delivery and collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence, ensuring transparency and efficient workflow management.
- Demonstrates strong servant leadership, with proven capability in facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, coaching, continuous improvement, and building transparent team environments.
- Certified and experienced Scrum Master, able to guide teams in applying agile practices effectively.
- Actively embodies and promotes core Agile values—Focus, Respect, Openness, Commitment, and Courage (FROCC).
- A reliable team collaborator, skilled in identifying and helping resolve impediments to maintain delivery flow.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement skills, enabling alignment across teams and leadership.
- Experienced in working with distributed and multi‑location teams, ensuring alignment, cohesion, and consistent delivery outcomes.
- Able to inspire, motivate, and coach multidisciplinary, self‑organized teams toward high‑performance behaviors.
- Exposure to or understanding of financial‑services environments is an added advantage.
- Possesses a professional level of English, both written and verbal.
Your skills and experience
- Strong experience in portfolio and program governance, including planning, reporting, milestone tracking, RAID management, and ensuring alignment with Product Area objectives.
- Adept at coordinating cross‑squad dependencies, managing delivery timelines, and driving execution across multiple workstreams.
- Skilled in creating and maintaining program‑level documentation, dashboards, and performance metrics to support leadership transparency and decision‑making.
- Capable of supporting capacity planning, resource allocation, budgeting inputs, and financial tracking in collaboration with Product Area leadership.
- Experienced in running governance cadences (SteerCos, Working Groups, Release Readiness) and ensuring adherence to organizational processes, audit requirements, and compliance expectations.
- Proactive in risk identification, issue resolution, stakeholder management, and fostering clear communication between technical teams and senior leadership.
- Brings strong organizational discipline, ensuring that delivery processes, templates, standards, and reporting mechanisms are consistently followed across the Product Area.
