Position Summary:

Senior Consultant


Job Summary:

SAP SD - Senior consultant would serve as a key individual contributor on an existing team. Would be a part of the Application support team and contribute to solution design as Functional Senior Consultant. Candidate should have SAP SD experience in Implementation, Rollout and Support projects. Responsible for designing and developing world class solutions and demonstrating SAP best industry practices. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Design and implementation of full solutions (Including testing and UAT Support and User training) 

• Analysis of business requirements and identify gaps in current and to be solution 

• Identify integration issues and develop solutions to these issues 

• Clarify processes to end users and business stakeholders as required 

• Establish good relationships with internal and external teams

• Outcome oriented - maximizing balance of effort vs benefit to achieve objectives 

• Precise approach to project management and procedures 

• Understands delivery within a fixed price model and able to operate effectively within those constraints 

• Take ownership of sub-plans for specific functional requirement and can plan own time to ensure project milestones are met 

• Identifies and escalates issues and risks within project structure 

• Receive feedback/coaching on performance from other members of the team positively. 

• Detailed knowledge of business requirements and solutions in their focus area 

• Contribute input and coordination to training documentation for his work 

• Take an issue, then plan and deliver a solution using own initiative, with little guidance. 

• Identifies and escalates issues and risks within project structure 

• Candidate must ensure that compliance with data protection legislation under the DPA, EU GDPR, any other applicable data protection legislation 

 

Qualifications: 

• Candidate should have college degree in a related field or equivalent experience 

• SAP SD Senior Consultant should have at least 8 years of SAP experience 

• SAP SD Certification is preferred 

 

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Should have good knowledge of SAP SD processes 

• Should have experience in design, configuration and testing of core SD modules e.g. 

• SAP SD-MD - Master Data 

• SAP SD-CAS - Sales Support 

• SAP SD-SLS - Sales 

• SAP SD-SHP - Shipping 

• SAP SD-TR - Transportation 

• SAP SD-BIL - Billing 

• SAP SD-GF General Sales Functions 

• Should have Experience and knowledge of key integration points with SD modules 

• Should have experience in troubleshooting, investigates, analyses and solved SD related issues 

• Good communication skills. Ready to work in shifts 

• Knowledge / Working experience in Design, configuration and testing of 

• SAP SD-EDI - Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) 

• SAP LE - Logistic Execution 

• CIN - Exposure 

• Knowledge of ITIL Framework and support Processes (Incident, Change, Problem) 

• Knowledge of working with any standard Ticketing tool. 

• Experience of working with Country India Version. 

• Ability to work with cross functional teams and Client teams to ensure seamless delivery. 

• Can conceptualize and communicate Business relevant solutions

• Bright, ability to rapidly pick-up new technologies, propositions and business areas 

• Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours and travel globally on occasion 

• Ability to work under own initiative and under tight time pressures - planning, prioritizing and controlling own workload 

Experience of working in support project with onsite offshore model
