Requires substantial SAP CO experience, multiple full lifecycle implementations or S/4HANA migrations, and expertise in variance analysis and multi-currency valuation.

SAP CO consultant with 8-10 years of experience –
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5 to 8 years of total functional SAP CO experience with a heavy focus on Product Cost Controlling (CO-PC) and Material Ledger.
Project History: At least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations or major S/4HANA migrations involving Material Ledger and standard/actual costing.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of variance analysis (Purchase Price Variances, Production Variances) and S/4HANA architecture (ACDOCA).
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Design: Lead end-to-end configuration of SAP S/4HANA Controlling (CO) and Material Ledger (ML), focusing on standard product costing, inventory valuation, and actual costing execution.
Costing Setup: Configure cost component splits, activity type rates, overhead structures, and standard cost estimates (CK11N/CK40N) for raw, semi-finished, and finished materials.
Material Ledger & Period-End: Manage mandatory S/4HANA Material Ledger activation, multi-currency valuation setup, and execution of periodic actual costing runs (CKMLCP) to calculate Periodic Unit Prices (PUP).
Cross-Module Integration: Align CO-ML processes seamlessly with Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Financial Accounting (FI/Universal Journal).
