About the Role:
The Analyst I primarily will be responsible for the maintenance of the CMA’s Asset capacity database. The role initially will be supporting the migration of the Asset capacity database and associated workflows, including testing, training and documentation. Following the migration to the CMA environment, the role will be responsible for research and the continuous update of the CMA global capacity database. In addition, the Analyst I will contribute to database enhancements and related developments of commercial products. The Analyst I will report to the Senior Analyst I team lead and work closely with CMA’s global product experts.
You Will:
Assume responsibility for the maintenance and timely updates of the Asset capacity database of 250+ chemical products
Assist with the coordination of updates across product areas and quality checks
Support major update projects and the set-up of new capacity products
Assist customer care with capacity inquiries and help with consulting engagements
Contribute to the development of the Asset capacity database including enhancements to functionality and addition of new concepts and analytical capabilities
You Have:
Chemical engineering or chemistry degree preferred, economics will be considered; post-graduate academic work in a technical field will be considered in lieu of experience
Preferably one to two years of petrochemical industry experience, including market intelligence and/or strategic planning
Excellent analytical and organizational skills; ability to identify and articulate core/essential issues within complex problems and deliver insights and solutions
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong MS Office suite management skills; Power BI experience a plus
Advanced knowledge of Excel including VBA scripting; python knowledge a plus
