- Lead Test Planning & Execution: Design and execute comprehensive test plans—including functional, regression, exploratory, and acceptance testing—particularly for high-priority or business-critical features.
- Advocate for Quality: Serve as the quality voice in planning and requirements discussions, identifying potential risks early and ensuring testability is built into features from the start.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with developers and automation-focused quality engineers to ensure manual and automated testing efforts complement one another seamlessly.
- Optimize Processes: Define, refine, and monitor QA processes, standards, and quality metrics to champion a quality-first culture across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- You possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- You have a proven track record of developing test strategies from scratch for complex, cloud-based SaaS applications and aligning those efforts with business outcomes.
- You are highly skilled in hands-on functional and exploratory testing across both web and API surfaces.
- You are a strategic thinker and confident communicator who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to complexity, and can translate technical quality concerns into business language.
- Familiarity with test automation concepts and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, PyTest) to effectively collaborate with automation engineers.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, and a basic ability to query databases (SQL) for test data validation.
