Role Overview
Trek is seeking an energetic QA Engineer II who will play a key role in supporting quality initiatives across global programs by partnering closely with the QA Manager and cross‑functional teams. This position requires strong organization, time management, and attention to detail to ensure consistent and accurate quality processes. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem‑solver with a “get stuff done” mindset, capable of adapting to diverse team needs and business practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review software requirements and contribute to testing strategy.
- Create reusable manual test cases and comprehensive test plans.
- Execute tests across various platforms (web, mobile, hardware/firmware, APIs).
- Log, track, and validate defects.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and represent QA status.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and automation engineers.
- Experience with Jira preferably with Zephyr too
- Can work on AI/LLM agents to enhance test case productivity
- Knowledge of executing SQL queries
Skills and Qualifications:
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical field or equivalent experience.
- 3-7 years of QA experience
- Understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and prioritization skills.
Good to have:
- Mobile, web, client-based, and API testing expertise with Rest assured
- Understanding of automation concepts; ability to maintain basic automated tests.
- Knowledge of infrastructure, networking, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Playwright and BDD framework
