QA Automation Engineer/Senior Engineer_Pune

Experience: 2–9 Years

We are looking for skilled Automation Test Engineers with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for web applications, APIs, and embedded devices. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in Python, hands-on experience with PyTest, Playwright, Selenium, and Robot Framework, and knowledge of test automation, debugging, and CI/CD integration.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Python, PyTest, Playwright, Selenium, and Robot Framework.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, unit, and API testing.
• Perform web application and API automation, including test scenario design, execution, analysis, and debugging.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to develop effective test strategies and comprehensive test coverage.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery.
• Identify, troubleshoot, document, and report software defects with detailed logs and supporting evidence.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks, improving reliability, reusability, and test coverage.
• Perform code reviews and follow automation coding standards and best practices.
• Work with developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure product quality.
• Support Dockerization of test automation frameworks and execution environments.
• Contribute to embedded device testing and mobile application automation, where applicable.
• For senior-level candidates, lead framework design and automation strategy, mentor team members, and manage team deliverables and performance.

• Strong programming and scripting experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience with PyTest, Playwright, Selenium, and/or Robot Framework.
• Experience in web application automation and API automation.
• Knowledge of unit, functional, regression, integration, and API test script development.
• Experience in test execution, result analysis, debugging, and defect reporting.
• Understanding of automation framework design, development, and maintenance.
• Experience with code reviews and automation best practices.
• Knowledge of Dockerization and containerized test execution environments.

• Experience in embedded device testing.
• Mobile application automation using Appium.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to continuous testing, test reporting, and automation optimization.
• Team leadership, mentoring, and people management experience for senior-level candidates.

• 2–5 Years: Hands-on experience in developing and executing automated test scripts, maintaining frameworks, debugging failures, and supporting web and API automation.
• 5–9 Years: Strong expertise in automation framework design and development, automation strategy, code reviews, CI/CD integration, and mentoring or people management, along with hands-on technical experience.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and a quality-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of automation deliverables.
