As a Software Engineer III, you'll design and build the scalable backend services and integrations that connect Spreetail's platform to the world's largest sales channels. This is a high-ownership role for an engineer who thinks in systems — you'll shape architecture, solve hard problems, and keep high-throughput services reliable as we scale.
How you will achieve success:
- Design and implement scalable services and integrations that power multi-channel ecommerce.
- Lead architecture and system design discussions, and participate in code reviews.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, well-tested code.
- Improve automation, monitoring, and operational reliability.
- Cross-collaborate with teams across Spreetail to deliver end-to-end.
What experiences will help you in this role:
- 5–8 years of backend software engineering experience.
- Strong system design and software architecture skills — you've designed and owned systems at scale.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership.
- Proficiency in at least one of Java, C#, or Python (must have).
- Working knowledge of .NET.
- Proficient in backend development and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong debugging, testing, and documentation skills.
- Cross-team collaboration experience.
- Nice-to-have: experience with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, or marketplace/channel integrations.

Desktop/Laptop system requirements:
- 4th generation or higher, at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor;
- at least 4GB RAM;
- Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system
- You are required to provide your own dual monitors
A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable or fiber wired internet service with 10 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection)
