User Request Prioritization: Evaluate and prioritize user requests for new features, improvements, and changes to the dashboards based on their impact, business value, business sponsors, and SMEs.
Backlog Management: Maintain a well-organized backlog of user stories, features, and enhancements, ensuring that they are refined, detailed, and properly prioritized.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with users and stakeholders to gather detailed requirements for new features and changes, ensuring a clear understanding of their needs.
User Story Creation: Create clear and concise user stories with acceptance criteria, providing the development team with the necessary context to implement requested features.
Acceptance Testing: Review and approve completed work to ensure it meets the defined acceptance criteria and aligns with user expectations.
Sprint Planning: Work with the development team to define and plan sprint goals, breaking down user stories into tasks and estimating effort.
Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data and analytics to inform decision-making, track feature adoption, and measure the impact of changes on revenue growth.
Alignment with Business Objectives: Ensure that the Tableau tool's development aligns with the overall business goals and objectives of the Revenue Growth Management department.
Prioritization Adjustments: Continuously review and adjust backlog priorities based on changing business needs, user feedback, and market trends.
Release Planning: Participate in release planning and scheduling, working closely with the development team to ensure that user priorities are reflected in the product roadmap.
Continuous Feedback Loop: Collect feedback from users on existing dashboards, features, and improvements, and incorporate this feedback into the development process.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to development, deployment, and user adoption, adjusting priorities as needed.
Decision Making: Make informed decisions on trade-offs between features, scope, and timeline, considering both user needs and technical feasibility.
User Training and Support: Collaborate with training teams to ensure users are educated about new features and changes, providing necessary documentation and support.
Innovation and Improvement: Explore new ways to enhance the Tableau tool's capabilities, recommending innovative features that could drive greater value for the users and the department.
Remember, the success of the Product Owner role relies on effective communication, collaboration, and a deep understanding of user needs and business objectives.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the Revenue Growth Management department, users, and the development team, effectively communicating priorities, changes, and updates.
