About the Role

HighLevel Inc. is seeking a talented and experienced CPaaS Product Manager to join our team and drive the development of our communication platform capabilities. Our Messaging product serves over 52 million monthly messages actively used by around 150K customers.


We aim to be the go-to marketing communication platform that empowers individuals and businesses of all sizes to harness the full potential of messaging and accomplish more in less time. 


As a Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our product and SMBs in general. As a Product Manager specializing in our CPaaS products, your role would involve overseeing the development and management of Messaging products within the platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, marketers, customer success and finance team to define, prioritize, and deliver innovative solutions that enable customers to streamline and automate their business processes.


Type: Full Time (Remote in India)


Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Vision:

- Establish the strategic direction and vision for High Level's SMS/Call/WhatsApp product features.

- Make informed decisions about product roadmaps based on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

2. Product Planning and Roadmap:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize user requirements and feature enhancements.

- Collaborate with customers to identify their needs and current challenges, which would feed forward into the Product planning process.

- Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap for workflow automation, aligning it with the company's overall product strategy and goals.

3. Requirements Definition:

- Conduct user research, interviews, and data analysis to gather insights and identify pain points.

- Translate user needs into clear and actionable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

4. Product Development and Launch:

- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.

- Plan and execute product launches, including creating go-to-market strategies, coordinating marketing efforts, and driving user adoption and engagement of workflow automation features.

5. Stakeholder Communication:

- Communicate product plans, progress, and updates to internal teams and stakeholders, including executives.

- Act as a subject matter expert on workflow automation, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external customers.

6. Performance Monitoring and Analysis:

- Define and track key product metrics to evaluate product performance and drive data-driven decision-making.

- Monitor customer feedback and conduct a competitive analysis to identify areas for improvement and address customer pain points.


Core Skills

- Passionate about software products.

- Track record of solving platform-level problems and catering to other teams as customers.

- Advocate for iterative development, experimentation, and learning.

- Capable of identifying and prioritizing good opportunities.

- Proficient in wireframing, building user journey maps, and user testing.

- Effective communicator with development teams, conveying trade-offs and building confidence in product strategy.

- Experience in rolling out products/features and conducting extensive beta tests.

- Skilled in using analytics to monitor, analyze, and learn from user behaviour, focusing on meaningful data points.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple initiatives.


Additional Skills

- Ability to write accurate and precise OKRs.

- Experience in a B2B SaaS or agency environment.

- Previous experience as an APM or PM.

- Familiarity with Agile or SCRUM environments.

- Experience with CPaaS platforms like Twilio, WhatsApp, etc.

- Ability to read and understand APIs.

- Knowledge of event-based systems vs. workflow-based systems.

- Ability to lead without formal authority and guide other departmental leaders to outcomes.
