About the Role
As a Product Designer at Hunch, you’ll report directly to the Co-founder and Chief Product Officer (CPO). This is an opportunity to collaborate closely with leadership and play a pivotal role in solving industry-first challenges. You’ll be responsible for crafting user experiences that don’t just meet user needs but set new standards in the dating space.
What You'll Do:
Responsibilities:
- Innovative Design Solutions: Tackle unique design challenges that haven’t been solved before in the dating app industry.
- Collaboration with Leadership: Work hand-in-hand with the Co-founder and CPO to align designs with strategic goals and product vision.
- User Research & Insights: Conduct research to uncover user pain points, behaviors, and motivations to drive design decisions.
- End-to-End Design: Own the design process from initial concepts and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes and final implementation.
- UI/UX Design Excellence: Create intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning user interfaces and experiences.
- Iterative Improvements: Use feedback and data-driven insights to continuously refine and improve designs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to deliver cohesive and impactful solutions.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
- Solid understanding of UX principles, user-centred design methodologies, and interaction design.
- Knowledge of interaction design principles and best practices would be a significant plus.
- Experience in motion design, animation, or prototyping tools (e.g., Framer, Principle) is a plus.
- Experience with cross-platform design to ensure seamless user experiences across various devices and screen sizes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and findings to cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience working with B2C startups is a strong plus, demonstrating an ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge of current design trends, accessibility standards, and best practices
