Position Summary
Plug Power Inc. is actively seeking a highly motivated Intern. The Intern will be responsible for assisting the Process Engineering Team in a wide variety of initiatives and projects in support of the department’s projects. In this role, you will gain exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment which includes developing a detailed understanding of Plug Power’s products. The role will focus on the successful completion of technical projects, process improvement, documentation, and presentation of results at the end of the program.
Learning Objectives:
- Basic Chemical Engineering Concept Study
- Basic Process Design Overview
- Unit Operations & Unit process understanding w.r.t to our technology
- Learning of H2 system engineering concept & behavior of H2.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand different process design concepts used in our product
- Learn to review P&ID & PFDs & assist an Engineer on a project.
- Prepare a Line list & through the Process datasheet
- Team Collaboration and Learning
- Support process engineer with Basic deliverables
Education and Experience
- BE/BTech in Chemical Engineering– Fresher.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess solid hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Computer and software systems skills as applicable to position including but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively
- Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail
- Excellent follow-through
- Must be driven and self-motivated
- Must possess the highest ethical standards and a commitment to work quality
Estimated Base Salary Range:
$21.00 - $25.00
