Process Engineer

• Perform DFA (Design for Assembly) analysis for new product mechanical assembly, and drive for non-compliance closure.
• Working with DE (Design Engineering) and EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) to drive closure of mechanical assembly or process related issues.
• Working with DE (Design Engineering) and EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) to develop new BE (Backend) processes / technology.   
• Develop suppliers to provide best in class manufacturing processes to support new product manufacturing requirements.
• Hands-on experience in product mechanical failures troubleshooting and optimization of new product manufacturing processes.  
• Continuously develop and seek new processes breakthroughs that improve quality, productivity and cost.

· Candidate must possess at least a Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering.

· At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field.

· Candidate must possess below experience and knowledge :

• Mechanical assembly process
• Familiar with best practices in mechanical assembly and assembly jig / fixture design
• Familiar with poka-yoke design and Design for Assembly guideline / design rules
• Familiar with statistical tool such as pFMEA, SPC, DOE
• Ultrasonic, laser, resistance welding and heat staking process
• Vacuum leak test requirement and troubleshooting

· Experience / knowledge in below technology/methodology will be added advantage

• Experience in SMT process for Flex and PCBA
• Experience in SMT DFM process

· Excellent communication, organization, reporting and analytical skills individuals with strong personal interaction skills are encouraged to apply.

· Self motivated with high level of initiative and energy.

· Willingness for domestic and international travel (when applicable)

· Willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.​
