Principal Data Engineer

• Architect and implement end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
• Define data ingestion, transformation, and modeling strategy using Lakehouse/Warehouse.
• Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Data Factory, Spark, and Dataflows Gen2.
• Design enterprise semantic models and govern Power BI datasets.
• Implement security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into architectures.
• Lead technical teams and establish best practices for Fabric usage.
• Optimize Lakehouse performance, storage layer, and reporting models.

• Minimum +8 years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Data Modeling – Strong expertise in designing and optimizing data models.
• ETL Concepts – Strong understanding of ETL/ELT principles and best practices.
• Microsoft Fabric – Hands-on experience with Fabric components and architecture.

Nice To Have Skills

• EA Governance – Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture governance frameworks.
• OneLake – Familiarity with OneLake storage and optimization strategies.
