Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, data modeling, and data visualization to transform complex data into meaningful insights for business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Create interactive visualizations and KPI dashboards for business users.
- Develop and optimize data models using Power BI.
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
- Work with multiple data sources and integrate them into Power BI.
- Develop DAX measures, calculated columns, and Power Query transformations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and provide analytical solutions.
- Monitor report performance and implement optimization techniques.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across reports and dashboards.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for existing BI solutions.
Requirements
Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and Data Modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL and database concepts.
- Experience with ETL processes and data transformation.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills - Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse, etc.).
- Knowledge of Python, R, or other analytical tools.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Microsoft Power BI Certification is a plus.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
