👩💻The role
At Headout, our media team—made up of photo researchers, editors, and creative strategists—works closely with designers, business managers, supply operations specialists, and writers to deliver exceptional visual experiences. As a Photo Intern, you’ll join this dynamic team and help shape the way travelers experience the world through imagery.
You’ll gain hands-on experience with AI-driven automation projects focused on photo sourcing, learn and refine Photoshop scripts for various editing scenarios, and help create standardized media templates. Through direct collaboration with senior team members and cross-functional partners, you’ll help establish a scalable framework to provide media as a service to our stakeholders and refine workflows to ensure high-quality visuals for our users. Your work will reach millions of people, helping them immerse themselves in global travel experiences they can trust and enjoy.
This is a fully remote, paid internship open to candidates across India.
A minimum of 6 months, it may extend up to 12 months or more based on your performance and fit within the team.

💝What skills & experience do you need?
- Foundational Experience: Some projects or work experience in photography, photo editing, media management, or visual arts.
- Storytelling Eye: A keen interest in telling stories through images, with any past projects or portfolio to back it up.
- Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced skills in Photoshop or similar editing tools.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication; able to clearly explain visual decisions to non-creatives.
- Organizational Aptitude: Capable of maintaining structure, following guidelines, and keeping digital assets well-organized.
- Attention to Detail: A willingness to spot and fix small issues, ensuring images meet both visual and factual standards.
- Adaptability & Drive: Able to juggle multiple tasks, stay open to feedback, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Team Player: Naturally extroverted, you are enthusiastic about working with others, asking questions, and engaging with colleagues in a remote environment.
- Education: Preferred if you are pursuing or recently completed a degree in Media Studies, Visual Arts, Design, Communication, or a related field.
➕ Bonus
- Proficiency with AI image tools such as MidJourney and Stable Diffusion.
- Experience in creating and using scripts and automation within Photoshop is a big plus.
