We are hiring a Performance QA Engineer with hands-on experience in implementing, executing performance tests and monitoring application environment for complex network systems.
Reporting to: Performance TL
Location: Gurugram, India
Direct Employment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Performance Tests using LoadRunner or Jmeter.
- Creating and maintaining Performance Automations using Jenkins.
- Analyze performance test Results and Present the results to relevant stake holders.
- Analyze the Performance issues and provide recommendations to Dev team.
- Monitor the application under test during the Test Executions. Creating performance monitoring dashboards using any APM tools like Datadog, AppD, Grafana etc.
- Test new versions for performance regressions.
- Creating Performance Test Plan as per the NFRs.
- Working closely with developers, architects, QA and DevOps.
Requirements
Requirements:
- BSc in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 6 years of experience in performance engineering.
- At least 3 experience in performance testing with LoadRunner/Jmeter (especially with Web, TruClient and Java over HTTP protocols).
- Proven experience in developing load test scripts/scenarios, system monitoring, detecting problems and analyzing/validating execution results.
- Strong skills in identifying, diagnosing, and solving compound performance issues as well as providing detailed technical analysis.
- Knowledge of scripting and/or programming languages (Java -preferred, JavaScript, Python, Perl).
- Experience working with cloud products and Knowledge in Cloud architecture (AWS and/or Azure).
- Knowledge and experience of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
- Excellent Linux knowledge with proven experience in both OS commands and machine monitoring.
- Familiarity with application performance monitoring - Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog or similar.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Very independent, self-managed, task leading capabilities, team player, pleasant to work with.
Advantages:
- Experience with CI/CD tool. Specifically – Jenkins.
- Experience with Version Control tool. Specifically – Git.
- Understanding of Microservices architecture.
- Experience with VMware.
- Experience with Selenium.
- Good network knowledge
