People Manager role is expected to have 10 plus years of experience in People Management

The job role responsibilities includes

Team Leadership: Providing guidance, direction, and support to team members to help them achieve their individual and collective goals.

Performance Management: Setting clear performance expectations, conducting regular performance reviews, and providing feedback to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Employee Development: Identifying training needs, creating development plans, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.

Conflict Resolution: Addressing conflicts and issues within the team in a timely and effective manner, promoting a harmonious and productive work environment.

Recruitment and Onboarding: Participating in the recruitment process, interviewing candidates, and onboarding new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the team.

Employee Engagement: Promoting a positive work culture, organizing team-building activities, and recognizing and rewarding team members for their contributions.

Should be able to lead a team of employees of different age groups and influence them through knowledge and skills 

Communication: Facilitating open and transparent communication within the team, keeping team members informed about organizational updates, goals, and expectations.

Resource Management: Allocating resources effectively, managing workloads, and ensuring that team members have the necessary tools and support to perform their roles successfully.

Policy Adherence: Ensuring that team members comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Performance Improvement:

Should have strong knowledge and experience of performance management.

Developing action plans for underperforming team members, providing coaching and support to help them improve their performance.

Should have expertise in Project Management and delivered Software Development project and handled cross functional teams.

  

Should promote Cencora Culture creating a great employee experience and be a role model for other employees at Cencora.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Cloud Architect Certifications
  • Integration Architects Certifications
  • Application/Infrastructure/Enterprise Architect Training and Certification, e.g. TOGAF
  • SAFe Agile Certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

WORK EXPERIENCE:

5+ years of directly-related or relevant experience with 2+ years in a managerial capacity, preferably in software designing and development or systems architecture.
