At Trillectric, we’re reimagining India’s distributed energy systems. We design IoT-connected hardware for rooftops, batteries, and grid assets — enabling visibility, control, and value creation across the clean energy stack. We’re building plug-and-play energy tech to power everything from solar monitoring to peer-to-peer trading and demand response.
We’re looking for a PCB Designer who can convert our ideas into robust, scalable hardware products.
What You’ll DoDesign multilayer PCBs for energy IoT devices (gateways, energy meters, solar controllers, etc.)
Collaborate closely with embedded engineers and hardware leads to finalize schematics and board layout
Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing (DFM) and electromagnetic compliance (EMC)
Select components considering cost, size, power, and availability for mass production
Run simulations (signal integrity, thermal, power delivery) as required
Review prototypes and assist with debugging and bring-up
Work with vendors and EMS partners to take boards to production
2–5 years of experience designing PCBs, preferably for embedded or power electronics
Proficiency in Altium Designer / KiCAD / Eagle (Altium preferred)
Strong understanding of design rules, grounding, decoupling, and component placement best practices
Experience with mixed-signal layouts (digital + analog) and switching power supplies is a big plus
Familiarity with EMI/EMC considerations and PCB-based thermal management
Enthusiasm for clean energy tech and products that work reliably in the field
Experience designing boards for ESP32, STM32, or communication modules (LoRa, Zigbee, NB-IoT)
Working knowledge of Modbus, CAN, RS485 interfaces
Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping, assembly, and lab tools (oscilloscope, rework station)
Involvement in full hardware product lifecycle — from schematic to manufacturing to field testing
We’re solving real problems at the edge of the grid
You’ll see your designs powering rooftops and remote energy systems across India
High ownership, deep tech learning, and opportunity to lead design decisions
Work with a mission-driven, fast-moving team on critical climate infrastructure
