Job Summary
As a Payments Lifecycle Manager within our CICS Custody Operations team, you will be responsible for managing the Authentication function for flawless delivery, accountable for proper change management & process improvement. This role provides an opportunity to lead and innovate in a dynamic business environment, promoting change and enhancing controls while delivering outstanding customer experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute of daily business as usual (BAU) tasks/activities in the most efficient and highly control framework oriented environment
- Exhibit knowledge on Signature Validation for Trade/ Payment instructions received from Clients
- Clarify about beneficiary account details to verify during Callback for Outgoing payments from JPM
- Publish / Review of Daily/weekly performance metrics pertaining to the function and to identify and track reasons for deviation from agreed levels or expected behaviour
- Ensure follow up and escalate for all ageing items.
- Ensure timely review and certification of CFS Middle Office Authentication function Procedures, Operating Service Agreements and Business Resiliency plans
- Review and improve on productivity benchmarks on an ongoing basis
- Participatein multiple forums such as Product, Client Service, Strategy to analyse the impact basis market changes and to drive Tech Initiatives to meet client expectation and internal functional goals
- Create strong resiliency & backups within the team by active involvement in day to day activities and training initiatives
- Work in partnership with Operations Control Management / Risk teams for performing QA testing's, MIS and Internal and External Audits.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Possess extensive experience in custody & fund services, markets, or prime brokerage operations, with proven staff management skills.
- Demonstrates flexibility, ability to meet tight deadlines, and strong organizational skills.
- Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proactively driving change and enhancing controls.
- Capable of navigating a dynamic business environment with a control-focused agenda and thorough understanding of program/project risk.
- Anticipates issues and drives initiatives to ensure results. Communicates strategic messages clearly, linking them to individual goals, and is proactive in identifying and escalating issues.
- Holds strong financial markets product knowledge, with expertise in Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Collateral, and Derivatives.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required, with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, and knowledge of data tools
- Adopts a logical, structured approach to planning, problem-solving, and decision-making, and is a self-starter managing team workload and deliverables effectively.
